20 Facts about Me
- I studied ballet for five years, and still have my toe shoes.
- I am a vegetarian.
- I am an accomplished baker. My specialties are bread, cookies and pies.
- I sailed around the Greek Islands with four Navy friends in 30 foot sailboat.
- I am scuba certified. Although I have not been in years.
- Russian literature is one of my favorites. I love a good long story.
- My feet are long! I wear size 10 shoes.
- I’ve been working since I was 12 years old. I picked strawberries and blueberries in the summer. It was never a choice.
- I was in 4-H with a steer. I won fourth place at the county fair.
- In college, I studied oil painting. I love painting. I just cannot find the time, or the right place.
- Many know that I have a Master’s degree in English, but most do not know that I dropped out of high school and received my GED.
- I prefer sunrises over sunsets.
- Lilacs are one of my favorite garden flowers.
- Old pick-ups are sexy. I want one. 1949 Chevy pick-up please.
- Any animal film makes me cry.
- I played the snare drum in grade school. I’ve been thinking about taking drum lessons lately.
- In grade school and high school, I was always friends with the underdog. I was not considered popular and I was quite shy.
- There is only one classic poem that I have memorized by Yeats. If you want to know what it is, message me!
- I drink tea in the morning.
- Bali, Africa, Laos and India are on my short list.
